Item # D-12722-24 4/15/24 1:22 am (500 Block of S. Dupre Street) aggravated battery by shooting;  The three victims were walking in the 500 Block of S. Dupre toward Tulane Avenue with other subjects, attempting to go to 2901 Bar and Lounge when a dark-colored sedan, occupied by at least two B/M subjects, exited the front seats and fired multiple rounds at the victims.  Three victims suffered gunshot wounds, the vehicle backed up onto Tulane Avenue and fled the scene.  It looks like one or more of the victims of this shooting were targeted by the perpetrators who waited for their approach.

     The Tulane Avenue corridor between Norman Francis and S. Carrollton has more activity with the main crime being vehicle burglaries, which are starting to increase.  There were two catalytic converter thefts from vehicles, don’t know if they are connected, due to the distance.
