Persons Crimes

After a couple weeks of really low activity, property crimes have sprung up again.  Please overlook the map.  There are a few hot spots, including 3000 Tulane Avenue (Crescent Club Apts),  They simply come in at the early-morning hours and burglarize vehicles. They hit multiple vehicles in the early-morning hours of this past Friday.  N. Murat and Dumaine was also hit (multiple vehicles) and there are thefts popping up on S. Alexander, including package thefts and a theft from the exterior of a vehicle.  Auto thefts have also popped up again mainly on the 1st District portion of Mid-City. 

     Out of the 5 auto thefts, 2 were Hyundai and 1 was a Kia.

     There was one person crime reported which was a sex offense.  I don’t have all the information, but it appears this was something involving two people who were either in a relationship or personally familiar with each other.
