Vehicle burglaries around the Shamrock and Pressure continue, please make checks throughout your shifts.

Violent crime this week:

There was a signal 42 at City Park and Orleans Ave reported on 6/30/22, apparently involving a juvenile and I have no information on that.

6/28/22 2:05pm F-28960-22 (aggravated assault-domestic) 200 block of S. Dupre Street: male/female couple in argument appears female may have had a mental issue but lunged at boyfriend with pickaxe.  The female was arrested.

7/2/22 9:11pm G-01877-22 (aggravated assault) 3000 block of Bienville Street:  workers were unloading a work truck when they observed a B/M subject inside the vehicle told him to exit and pushed him out of the parking lot, they then observed another B/M inside a vehicle near, who exited with a firearm, pointed it at them and made a stated “get the fuck back.”  The subject then left the scene.
