E-31674-22 (aggravated assault) at 500 block of S. Genois 5/29/22 11:00 am:  Incident involved disturbance with neighbors in which one pulled a weapon on the other, this was cleared by arrest.

E-33690-22 (aggravated assault) at Bienville and Carrollton 5/31/22 11:45 am:  road rage incident involving a slow turn, occupant of one vehicle pointed middle finger, other driver pointed a weapon then fled.  This is an open investigation. 

F-02724-22 (aggravated assault) at Carrollton and Tulane 6/3/22 8:30 am:  road rage incident where driver stated car behind her was honking to make her run red light, she refused and made a statement to the other driver who then pulled over and pointed a weapon at the victim.  Perpetrator then fled, open investigation.

F-03581-22 (car-jacking) in the 400 Block on N. Scott 6/4/22 1:20 am:  victim was leaving home and partially blocked in by the perpetrator(s).  She drove around the vehicle, which followed her, apparently got in front of her and blocked her.  At that time B/M subject exited the vehicle, produced a weapon and ordered the victim out of the vehicle.  Perpetrators then fled with vehicle, victim ran back to her home where she contacted police.  The vehicle the perpetrators occupied was described as a silver sporty style sedan.  This is an open investigation.

As stated in previous e-mails we consistently see aggravated assaults involving road rage, please keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles/subjects.  Also remember there is a curfew violation during the summer months and we do enforce it.  A reminder:  keep an eye and conduct resident checks at 132 S. Scott, also continue the checks at 530 S. Norman Francis pertaining to the loitering and drug use in the rear of D’Mac next to the business at 530 S. Norman Francis.  Please document those on your trip sheet and place comments in comment section.
