Persons Crimes

Mid-City suffered one violent crime from the previous MAX week:  G-27643-22 double shooting at 3004 Orleans Avenue; 7/28/22 7:19 pm; victims were sitting on the porch of the residence — male 18 year old and female 16 year old — when vehicle pulled up and began firing at the individuals.  Female shot in arm and male shot in buttocks, they both fled inside the residence to escape the gunfire.  It appears this was targeted, perhaps the male, and the investigation is ongoing.

Most of our crime occurred on Friday, including four auto burglaries.  Pressure has been closed for repairs, to my knowledge, and that seems to be the reason for the decrease in burglaries on late Sunday night/early Monday morning.
