H-29548-22 aggravated burglary @ 2800 block ofBienville Street (8/30/22 11:42 am)  a B/M subject broke into s home and waited for someone to arrive, which turned out to be a H/F.  Once she entered $5,000 cash was stolen from her and phone, gun exhibited by perpetrator and he committed a battery on the victim.  After taking the property the subject fled.  It appears the perpetrator likely knew who resided at the location and cash was the target, the couple that reside at the location are laborers and carried cash.

H-31174-22 armed car-jacking @ 4100 Block S. Carrollton Avenue *Dollar Tree* (8/3/22 11:36 pm) a B/M subject exited a parked grey Honda Accord which was parked next to the victim, exhibited a weapon told the victim to exit her vehicle, Hertz rental red Hyundai Elantra, report isn’t complete and there were several different locations on this item.  M.O. was different, the perpetrator didn’t point the weapon at the victim and handed her purse and phone to her, which was inside the vehicle before fleeing. 

We had 6 vehicle burglaries, but they were scattered throughout Mid-City with the exception of two in the proximity of The Shamrock and Club Pressure.
