Crime Map September 4-10, 2022

Long story short we got slammed with vehicle burglaries most occurred on 9/7 during the day watch, the 1st and 3rd Districts got slammed by perpetrators in a white Dodge.

Violent crime:  I-09222-22 9/10/22 3:49 am aggravated battery by shooting at the intersection of Tulane and S. Norman Francis.  The details pertaining to why this occurred is unclear, but one vehicle was possibly randomly firing a long rifle and struck the vehicle in the left lane next to them.  Both vehicles were southbound on Tulane Avenue at the traffic light.  The female who was the front passenger had a through and through in the right thigh.

    Authur Cook 6/15/69, Mr. Cook is currently wanted for the simple robbery that occurred in the 3300 Block of Baudin Street on 1/16/26 and the simple carjacking of the Amazon delivery driver at Banks and S. Salcedo on 2/12/26.
