Property crimes, particularly vehicle thefts, were an issue and we got slammed Friday and Saturday.  The 3rd District portion of Mid-City appeared to be targeted over the weekend and specifically Saturday morning.  The vehicle thefts are listed below:

3.            9/13/23 11:11 pm (4125 Palmyra St) 2017 Kia Soul Fl tag # Y46MHE green in color

4.            9/13/23 7:32 am (432 S. Bernadotte St) 2018 Hyundai Accent La tag # 535CAB silver in color

5.            9/15/23 4:15 am (500 S. St. Patrick St) 2020 Kia Sportage SC tag # 47AEAR1 black in color

6.            9/16/23 12:00 am (3630 Dumaine St) 2011 Hyundai Venue La tag # 462FKS white in color

7.            9/16/23 3239 Orleans Ave (no information in EPR but this was an attempt auto theft)

8.            9/16/23 12:00 am (4100 St. Peter St) 2021 Kia Rio La tag # 975EPY silver in color (this was an attempt auto theft)

9.            9/16/23 9:45 pm (4800 Conti St) 2017 Hyundai Tucson La tag # 583EXU orange in color

     In addition to the attempted vehicle thefts and vehicle thefts there were 4 vehicle burglaries between Friday and Saturday.
