Homicide reported Christmas Day at 10pm. Located in the Walgreens parking lot at the corner of Canal Street and South Carrollton Avenue. It appears to have been an argument between two men that ended in homicide. We will update you as we receive more information.

What was the murder weapon — gun, knife, etc?
It’s now Jan 2. Any update from NOPD to MCSD you can share? That’s a place many residents frequent. If the argument was between two people who knew each other, that’s one thing. If the killer started an argument with a random person, that’s very different.
