6/17/24 6:00 am (rape) @3700 Block of Bienville Street; The victim was out on Bourbon Street with friends where the friends met male subjects. They returned to her AIRBNB where she awakened to the male having intercourse with her.
6/17/24 6:00 am (rape) @3700 Block of Bienville Street; The victim was out on Bourbon Street with friends where the friends met male subjects. The victim woke to find a used condom on her bedroom floor, was intoxicated, and did feel like she had engaged in sexual intercourse.
6/17/24 unknown time (rape) @600 Block of S. Pierce Street; The victim stated she went to a party at an unknown location in the block, when she was given “gummies”, apparently spiked with drugs. The victim passed out and was transported to her boyfriend’s residence, at some point she was advised to get a sexual assault evaluation and did so.
6/17/24 5:30 pm (simple car-jacking) 4000 Block of Delgado Drive; The victim parked her vehicle at the location, walked to a nearby residence to place an item in the mailbox and upon returning to her vehicle was confronted by three B/M subjects who demanded her vehicle. The keys were turned over and the perpetrators fled with the victim’s vehicle, there was no weapon involved in this crime.
On Friday, June 14, 2024, approximately 8:40 pm there were two sexual batteries that occurred in the 900 and 1100 Blocks of City Park Avenue, two separate victims involving the same perpetrator minutes apart. The perpetrator of those crimes is still currently wanted, however he has not been identified. The perpetrator is described as a B/M, mid 20’s, approximately 5’9”, medium build, wearing a red short, red shorts, and 4 inch braid hair style. Although I have no confirmation, it’s very likely the perpetrator is homeless and may have mental health issues. If anyone is seen fitting this description in that general area please conduct a field interview to assist with the eventual apprehension of this perpetrator and contact Sex Crimes.
So far this year if you include the three above-reported incidents, there have been 21 sex- related crimes compared to 10 at this point last year. The allegation or possibility is all that’s needed for a sex crime investigation to be started, and the follow-up investigation will determine the facts. That being the case only five have been confirmed non-acquaintance, that includes the sexual assault and misdemeanor sexual battery by arrested subject Joseph Davis on the Lafitte Greenway 5/23/24. Perpetrator Davis was arrested and charged with two crimes on two separate victims. There was an incident in the 400 Block of N. Carrollton Avenue on 5/9/24 11:30 pm where a victim was attacked by a B/M subject who was also very likely homeless and maybe had a mental health issue. That victim was helped by a family member and passerby and the perpetrator fled. The City Park incidents would be the 4th and 5th occurrences this year involving the same perpetrator. It is unfortunate for any sexual assault or sex crime to happen, however outside of these particular incidents, the others have been acquaintances or family members involved. The acquaintance sex crimes typically involve the parties living together or someone was invited to a residence. Again be aware of this while patrolling and pay particular attention to 3rd District Zone H for the City Park area perpetrator.
There was a residence burglary at 4420 Canal Street 6/21/24 12:00 pm rear door forced entry.

6/20/24 5:00 am S Carrollton and Tulane (no vehicle information) vehicle parked after disabling auto accident on the corner when she returned the vehicle was gone. Vehicle was likely towed away from scene.
