There was one incident of shots fired in Mid-City on 7/16/24 4:40 am at the intersection of Orleans and N. Broad Street. A Mid-City officer was patrolling near that intersection when several shots were heard occurring inside a vehicle. The officer notified dispatch, attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle successfully fled the scene. There was an arrest made in connection to this incident from one of two subjects fleeing the vehicle.
