Item number I-00000-24 600 Block of City Park Avenue (attempt sexual assault) 8/13/24 2:00 am; This was a late report. An attempted sexual assault was reported at a hospital in St. Tammany Parish. A nurse was told it occurred 8/13/24 at 2:00 and the facility contacted police. It should be noted there was no statement given to police, the complainant refused to speak with police and the information received came directly from hospital staff.
Item number I-17901-24 200 Block of N. Broad Street (armed robbery-knife) 9/18/24 1:00 pm; The victim was standing at the bus stop in front of Dollar General when the perpetrator approached brandishing a knife and demanding property from the victim. The victim turned over property and the perpetrator fled; however, the perpetrator was arrested less than 3 minutes after the crime due to officers being in the area. Jamey Dean B/M 11/29/89 was arrested without incident near the intersection of N. White and Canal, the victim was not injured.

There was an aggravated burglary in the 4000 Block of Banks Street domestic in nature, the former boyfriend of the victim (Victor Hernandez H/M 7/21/89) is wanted for the crime.
