Item # A-01727-26 1/2/26 4:45 pm (simple robbery) @2700 Block of Canal Street;  The victim as standing at the trolley stop when he was approached by a male subject who asked for a dollar, as the victim retrieved money from his pocket the perpetrator struck the victim and took a total of ten dollars.  Officers quickly arrived on scene and Quincey Venable B/M 1/27/76 was arrested blocks away.
