Persons Crimes

One violent crime reported during that week:  Attempt armed robbery @ 4000 Block of Palmyra St.  H-08416-22 (8/9/22) 4:20 pm, incident involved W/M subject who approached Hispanic male on bike with firearm and demanded property.  The victim fled on foot and the weapon was discharged, unsure if discharged at the victim.  Perpetrator fled without property.  The victim was working at the time of the crime.

Overall crime in Mid-City appears to be dipping, I’m attributing Club Pressure being temporarily closed to the 62-C drop.  Also school being back in session may be playing a part.
