Persons Crimes

Item # B-14816-23 2/16/23 1:50 am (armed robbery) @Tulane and S. Scott;  the victim B/M was walking in the area when he was approached by a B/M subject who approached with a knife and demanded the victim’s property.  The perpetrator received the victim’s wallet and fled on a bike, officers (L. Jones) arrived quickly got a description and the perpetrator was subsequently located, identified and arrested. 

Item # B-14873-23 2/16/23 4:00 am (shooting) @2806 St. Louis;  the victim W/M was inside the location, apparently unsecured with earbuds in his ear when a B/M subject entered the location and demanded property.  A brief fight ensued between the two with the perpetrator fleeing.  As he was fleeing, the perpetrator discharged the weapon one time toward the victim who was struck in his right thigh.

Item # B-17830-23 2/18/23 9:00 pm (aggravated assault)@S. Salcedo and Baudin;  the incident involved a road rage incident where the victim didn’t allow the perpetrator to cut into traffic, in anger the perpetrator displayed a weapon pointing it in the victim’s direction. 

All the above occurred in the 1st District portion of Mid-City.

Item # B-14897-23 2/16/23 4:20 am (armed robbery)@N. Murat and Iberville;  the victim (W/M) was walking in the area when he heard someone running behind him.  The victim turned and found a (B/M) subject armed with a handgun, the subject demanded property and received a backpack and wallet.  The perpetrator then fled on foot. 

The most reported crime was auto thefts totaling seven for the week.
