Item # B-04203-24 2/5/24 8:55 pm pickpocket@3205 Tulane Avenue; This was an attempted purse snatching that occurred at Melba’s, where the perpetrator was unable to successfully grab the victim’s purse and make his escape.
Item # B-00000-24 2/6/24 3:00 am simple rape @500 Block of S. Dupre Street; At this point don’t have details on this, but it occurred at a residence.
Item # B-09809-24 9:30 pm @Canal and N. White Street; This incident was related to Endymion Parade, this involved a family altercation where one family member struck another with an unknown metal object causing injury to the victim.
Item # B-09976-24 10:43 pm @4501 Toulouse Street; The victims in this incident were sitting outside the Evangeline Lounge where an unknown Hispanic male attacked two of several subjects sitting outside. One victim was struck with a bottle that broke and the second victim was cut with that broken bottle. One individual who was with the victims followed the perpetrator to a vehicle parked a distance away. The license plate was retrieved from the vehicle, given to police. During follow-up, the owner of the vehicle was identified as the perpetrator, and a warrant was issued for the perpetrator’s arrest.
