64-G 3800 Block of Ulloa St. (item # G-16870-22) 7/17/22 9:48 pm: victim was walking at the location when he was approached by a vehicle driving against traffic, without headlights. One perpetrator B/M exited (ski mask) the passenger side with gun, took the victim’s property, re-entered the passenger side and fled the area. The vehicle was described as a silver sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry driven by a B/M subject.
64-J S. Cortez and Baudin (item # G-20848-22) 7/21/22 10:30 pm: victim was parking his vehicle to meet a friend when he was approached by an armed B/M subject, and dropped the keys to his vehicle which was taken by the perpetrator. While the armed perpetrator fled with the victim’s vehicle, and second perpetrator drove behind the first perpetrator in a gray sedan.
Although it was stated a silver/gray sedan was involved in both robberies after consulting with detectives these are not the same perpetrators. Be on the lookout for vehicles fitting this description, particularly during the night.
Property crimes were scattered by distance, date and time. There were two vehicle burglaries and one theft in the 3700-3800 Blocks of Orleans to be conscious of. They occurred on three different dates, two in the morning and one in the afternoon. Keep this in mind while patrolling the Orleans corridor.
