Item number G-05011-24 an aggravated battery that occurred 7/5/24 9:45 pm @3332 Bienville Street; The victim was at work when he was assaulted with a shovel by the perpetrator.  The victim suffered minor injuries, a Mid-City officer was flagged down and directed to the perpetrator at Canal and N. Lopez where he was detained, the perpetrator was transferred to 1st District Officers and arrested for the crime.  There was a history between the involved parties, with the perpetrator previously dating the victim’s mother.

7/6/24 1:00 am 100 Block of S. Scott Street black 2017 Yamaha motorcycle La tag # MC646798

7/6/24 12:45 am 500 Block of S. Norman Francis Parkway 2018 Kia Soul (recovered 7/6/24 7:57 am in the 2700 Block Esplanade Avenue, there was a juvenile arrested)
