Carrollton Avenue and Bienville Street (aggravated assault); The incident involved a road rage incident in which the perpetrator, a B/M subject (front passenger) produced and pointed a weapon at the victim. The perpetrator vehicle was driven by a B/F at the time of the incident, according to the victim.

Auto theft:
Reported 5/12/24 occurred 5/10/24 5:00 pm green 2007 Ford E350 van Oh tag # HNX5075
There was a business burglary at 326 N. Norman Francis Parkway, (Bayou Beer Garden) occurring 5/18/24 at approximately 5:00 am. Two masked subjects defeated a rear door, gained entry, took currency and an ATM from the location. It appears there was no alarm activated during the incident and officers learned of the crime when an employee arrived at work and found the burglary.
Shots Fired:
There was a shots fired call 5/14/24 5:44 pm, involving a clerk at the Shell Gas station (3327 Tulane Avenue). The clerk was engaged in an argument with a customer who demanded a refund on a product, the argument escalated and the customer threw the item at the clerk — an empty nitrous oxide canister — striking the clerk. In response the clerk retrieved a firearm from under the counter and fired several shots in the direction of the customer who was exiting the store. Thankfully, no one was injured or shot. The incident was documented and this is a continuing investigation.
There were no other shots fired reported during the past week.
