Item # E-22223-24 5/23/24 sexual assault in the 400 Block of S. Cortez Street.  This incident involved an elderly victim and family member.

Item # E-21815-24 5/23/24 7:15 am attempt sexual assault @St. Louis and N. Broad;  This incident involved a female on the Lafitte Greenway being attacked by a B/M subject whose behavior during the incident exhibited an attempt rape.

There was also a misdemeanor sexual battery in the 3700 Block of Lafitte on 5/23/24 12:30 pm where the same subject of the St. Louis and N. Broad attack grabbed the breast of another female.

     The perpetrator of the Lafitte Greenway crimes identified as Joseph Davis 7/24/85 was arrested 5/25/24.

Item # E-22686-24 5/24/24 3:00 am aggravated burglary @3400 Block of Tulane Avenue;  This incident involved a burglary with a robbery that involved two subjects entering the victim’s residence with firearms and robbing them of money.  The victims recently received a large sum of money and that clearly was the motive and target of the crime.

     There were also two separate storage unit thefts at the Fountainblaeu Storage at 4040 Tulane Avenue on 5/20/24 and 5/21/24.
