Item number K-17520-24 11/17/24 8:15 pm (attempt armed robbery w/knife)@4300 Block of Iberville Street; The victim was walking her dog when she was approached by a male subject on a bike. The subject produced a knife, demanded property (phone) and proceeded to search the victim. The perpetrator found nothing, got on the back, and for some reason got off the bike and searched the victim again before getting back on the bike and fleeing the scene. Description: black mountain bike, possible teen with Spanish accent, black/dark blue sweatsuit and black bandana covering face, approximately 5’8” and 150 lbs.
Item number K-23938-24 11/23/24 8:54 pm (armed robbery w/knife)@200 Block of S. Telemachus Street; The victim was walking from the bus stop when she was approached by a male who exited a black bike before walking in her direction, the subject had a white rag tied around his face and produced a knife. The perpetrator, who had a Spanish accent, demanded property, receiving the victim’s phone, backpack, phone charger and keys before getting on the bike and fleeing toward Palmyra Street, turning right on S. Cortez Street to Canal Street. Subject described as 18-25, approximately 5’10”.
