Persons Crimes

Item # K-19241-22 (attempt simple robbery) 400 N. Carrollton Avenue (Rouse’s) 11/20/22 1:20 pm.  The victim observed a brown SUV parked next to her vehicle (occupied) in the parking lot, she stood by waiting for the subjects (at least 2 B/M’s) to drive off.  The subjects didn’t so she proceeded to attempt to enter her vehicle, at that time one male exited the vehicle and attempted to take the victim’s keys.  She screamed and proceeded toward the store and the subject’s fled.  The vehicle was described as either a brown Infinity/Volkswagen/Audi SUV. 

Other notes, auto thefts persist throughout Mid-City.  Auto thefts are the most consistent crime lately, additionally there were little crimes reported/occurred in the later portion of the week.  It’s likely that with Bayou Classic being this past weekend perpetrators moved toward the downtown area.
