Item # I-21698-25 9/22/25 2:05 am 500 Block of S. Dupre Street (aggravated criminal damage to property);  There were shots fired in the block with one vehicle and one residence struck.  At this time there is no clear understanding for the shots, if someone was being targeted, road rage, or something else. 

There was a homicide several blocks outside the boundaries of the Mid-City Security District’s borders in the 3200 Block of Dumaine Street.  This crime involves someone who had mental health issues in the past, committed a burglary of a family member’s home, gained possession of a firearm through that burglary and apparently targeted a random individual who unfortunately succumbed to gunshot wounds.
