Homicide reported Christmas Day at 10pm. Located in the Walgreens parking lot at the corner of Canal Street and South Carrollton Avenue. It appears to have been an argument between two men that ended in homicide. We will update you as we receive more information.

12/15/23 Bank Robbery at Hancock Whitney on Canal Street. Police are on the scene at Hancock Whitney Bank on Canal Street investigating a bank robbery that just happened moments ago. We will send updates as things unfold. UPDATE: Suspect captured.

News – Shooting 11/29/23
Shooting at McDonald’s on Canal. Two (co-workers) employees had apparently been arguing all morning, engaged in a fight in the parking lot. One was armed pulled out gun and shot the other in the leg.
