Pinnacle Security joined the Mid-City Security District patrols in February of 2023. Due to the increasing lack of NOPD officers available to fill all MCSD patrols, MCSD contracted with Pinnacle Security to provide a 24/7 patrol of Mid-City. Pinnacle mans the MCSD phone 24 hours a day. Escorts are now available 24 hours a day. The phone is also backed up by a dispatcher, guaranteeing each phone call will be answered.

MCSD/NOPD patrols work side by side with Pinnacle Security, freeing the MCSD/NOPD officers to patrol the district more proactively, without having to handle the phone. Pinnacle Security is in constant contact with the MCSD/NOPD officers on duty via a two-way radio that is in the possession of Pinnacle Security and the MCSD/NOPD officer on patrol. Pinnacle Security patrols 3 8-hour shifts per day.

There is also a flashing light bar at the top of the vehicle that is on at all times. In addition to calling the MCSD phone, you can also flag down the Pinnacle Security truck, when needed.
